Every summer, the courtyard at the Invalides, historic military and monumental site in the heart of the city, puts on a sound and light show accompanied by the best of video-mapping. It’s called La Nuit aux Invalides, or Night at the Invalides. For this 6th edition, Amaclio presents a new show that takes spectators to the heart of the First World War: 1918, the birth of a new world.
In this year commemorating the centennial, Bruno Sellier reveals us a show as instructive as it is sensational. This Night at the Invalides 2018 is unlike any other: the latest sound and video-mapping technologies are at the service of a unique monument.
Dive into the heart of WWI, following Martin, a Provincial kid exiled in Paris and unwittingly put into one of the founding moment of modern history. On the menu, a breathless narrative evolving around 35 unique sequences.
Come along and live out a breathtaking and sensational experience, a 180-degree show projected across 820 feet of façade for 4000-sqm of screenings on the renovated stone facades. The beautiful show, lasting 45 minutes, has an exceptional image quality thanks to latest range 4K projectors. In terms of sound, it’s flawless, the installation makes the sensorial experience even more real.
When the show’s over, you can also enjoy a night tour lit with a thousand candles, staged by Bruno Seillier in the Eglise du Dome.
Don’t miss your chance to see this incredible building like you’ve never seen it before. Spend a Night at the Invalides!
