In 2020, the Domaine de Saint-Cloud was once again to host Europe's largest fireworks display. However, the coronavirus epidemic has led to the cancellation of the return of the Grand Feu de Saint-Cloud. This magnificent show, eagerly awaited by all pyrotechnic show afficionados, had already cancelled its 2019 edition due to a lack of funds.

The Grand Feu d'artifice de Saint-Cloud will unfortunately not be returning to the Île-de-France region in 2020. Indeed, this show considered an institution, this extraordinary pyrotechnic spectacle blending the most innovative techniques in the majestic setting of the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud will not take place this year due to the coronavirus epidemic. Fans of this grandiose event will have to be patient.

Last year, the organizers were also forced to cancel the Grand Feu de Saint Cloud due to a lack of funds. This large-scale sound and light show unfortunately failed to break even. It was nevertheless replaced by another rhythmic show: the Pleins Feu de Saint Cloud. No alternative has yet been announced for 2020.

As a reminder, the Grand feu de Saint Cloud was:
In the garden of the Domaine, imagined by Le Nôtre, contemporary fireworks brought to life in the 21st century the "superb theater of gushing crystal" that presented itself to the Duc d'Orléans. For the occasion, the park's lawn was decked out with chairs and grandstands to welcome the 23,000 enthusiasts for whom fireworks are more than just a national holiday. In front of the large, beautiful waterfall, they were treated to a unique experience: experiencing Europe's biggest fireworks show from the inside.

For almost two hours, the sky lit up with a thousand lights, revealing numerous tableaux in the Ile-de-France sky. Set to carefully selected music, a mix of classics and famous film soundtracks, some thirty "tableaux" followed one another around the history of the Château de Saint Cloud.

And last year, to celebrate the 10th edition of Europe's largest fireworks display, the second part of the show was a best-of selection of the Grand Feu's best tableaux.
