Circus Remix at the Monfort Théâtre in Paris

After “De Nos Jours [Notes on the Circus]”, Maroussia Diaz Verbèke is back at the Monfort Théâtre from September 20 to October 14, 2017 to present her new show Circus Remix, a solo she imagined on her own.

Maroussia Diaz Verbèke is one of those artists that keep impressing us because of their dexterity. Google her and this is what you’ll find: “Maroussia Diaz Verbèke is an art director, circographer*, researcher, rope acrobat – she climbs in trees, looks for something to do in this great house, spiritedly practices gym – she did her first show without being aware of it and in the world’s smallest Big Top (…) works with flying rope and flexible wire – tries to mix the two of them – finds a first solution.

That’s it. Maroussia Diaz Verbèke has a lot to say and to do and she uses Circus Remix to do so. This is a solo she created for many years in collaboration with various artists including the Ivan Mosjoukine group of which she is the cofounder. On the menu of this show created on her own and performed at the Monfort Théâtre and at the 104, a trip through life’s emotions, just through life. Constant questions that go back and forth.
