L’Aerosol opens from Wednesday August 2, 2017 in a former shed of the SNCF. This true temple of street art invites you to discover a colorful universe featuring a promising programming and many animations for children and adults. The place will be open until late January 2018.

Street art lovers, occasional or lifelong graffiti artists, tourists on the look for a chill place know that a spot dedicated to street art is opening. Nestled in a former shed of the SNCF, here you have L’Aerosol!

On the outside? Walls covered in ephemeral artworks, walls still blank that other artists will come to cover up because this is how street art goes. Facing these walls, food-trucks will allow you to eat in the middle of these arts and on tables customized by street artists. And the least we can say is that there is something for everyone!

On the menu: hot-dogs provided by Richard’s Hot Dog, burgers by Nolita Street, pizzas with Airstream Pizza as well as more original specialties including Munchies Food Truck offering an Egyptian and Japanese cuisine, Greek specialties thanks to Nykos food truck and poutine with Pout’s Truck. And if the heat has decided to join the party, you can cool off with ice creams from La Tropicale. Behind them, a petanque ground! A bit further, skate ramps! A trade fair will also be set in the middle of all these. Art, food, music, here are the bare necessities!

On the inside? An open bar. On the walls, other artworks that are to be covered up as soon as inspiration strikes. A DJ booth overhangs a dancefloor so you can get in the mood with roller skate, in the old school way. The music? House, electro, rap, hip-hop, afrobeat, everything you need to have fun with your friends and family.

Freedom is the watchword. Freedom, okay, but what? Well, freedom of expression on the walls, on the ground, of bringing your own picnic and enjoying the catering area without being forced to pitching in. Freedom of living this place as we want.

But that is not all! By late August, a second room will be open to unveil a giant museum dedicated to street art and graffiti, set up in collaboration with Maquis-Art. Artworks from the greatest names such as Invader, Shepard Fairey, JonOne, Banksy, Dondi White and even Crash will be exhibited. The place will also include playful and futuristic activities such as virtual reality experience, a digital wall on which you can paint with a spray paint can that will be available. Artists will also enjoy the Maquis-Art shop to get new spray paint cans.

Finally, for the record, this ephemeral spot aims at entirely covering the 2,000 sqm terrace with paintings. So, grab your paint cans and brushes!
