As part of the “Pompei” exhibition at the Grand Palais, Sonorium sound specialist hosts a free listening session – in very high-fidelity sound – of Pink Floyd’s 1972 album “Live at Pompeii” on Sunday September 27, 2020 at the Grand Palais auditorium.
And since it is a very coveted event, two sessions are scheduled: 2:30 p.m. (already sold-out), and 5 p.m.
In 1972, the iconic band Pink Floyd performed a show – without a crowd – in the antique ruins of Pompeii.
This is this live that is played – with pictures – this Sunday afternoon at the Grand Palais in the very comfortable auditorium.
Listening sessions are hosted by “Very Good Trip” host Michka Assayas – a daily show on rock music on France inter. The listening (and screening) session is followed by an open debated with Michka Assaya on the work and the band.
And this is not the first time the organizer chooses Pink Floyd: they already played the “The Dark Side of the Moon” album along the “Moon” exhibition.
The number of tickets for the Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii (1972) listening session being limited, the – free – admission is only open to booking.
The online ticketing service opens on Friday September 18, 2020 at 12 p.m. for the second session. Do not be late.
