Go to MK2 Gambetta to see your film in a special cinema in Paris, as the building's facade has been listed as a historic monument since 2012.

The history of this cinema dates back to the 1920s, but it was in 1998 that the MK2 cinema group bought and renovated the building. The MK2 Gambetta, located in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, catches the eye from the outside with its atypical facade. Built by architect Henri Sauvage in the Art Nouveau style, the façade has been listed as a historical monument since 2012, when it was last renovated.

Inside, the MK2 Gambetta cinema gives way to 6 projection rooms to accommodate the public, totalling over 1,000 seats. The program includes auteur films, but above all national releases, all in their original version. These theaters also host special screenings, such as the "cultissime" screenings held once a week. During these screenings, you'll find cult films that have marked the history of cinema, such as Billy Wilder's Some Like It Hot, Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver and James Cameron's Terminator.

As in other MK2 cinemas, at Bastille or Quai de Seine for example, the little ones also have their own special cinema session. From 2 to 4 years old, Bout'chou sessions show films lasting less than an hour, with lower sound levels and dimmed lighting. And from age 5 upwards, MK2 junior screenings feature animated classics, usually Disney films such as Bambi, Alice in Wonderland and The Jungle Book.

Alongside the MK2 Gambetta cinema, of course, is the Place Gambetta, which has recently been redesigned to accommodate bicycles and pedestrians. 200 meters further on, you can continue your stroll in the Square Édouart-Vaillant. Unless you'd like to visit the famous Père Lachaise cemetery, 8 minutes' walk away, the largest cemetery in Paris and the resting place of many celebrities.
