Chinese artist Wen Na introduces us to her poetic, mythological world in a new exhibition at the Musée en Herbe from June 5, 2024 to January 5, 2025.

The Musée en Herbe welcomes artist Wen Na for a poetic and original exhibition, immersing us in the wonderful world of Chinese mythology and tradition. From June 5, 2024 to January 5, 2025, discover Oh my Gods, Wenna's divine exhibition, and take part in an astonishing, fun-filled journey with your family.

Internationally renowned for her colorful murals, artist Wenna brings her paintbrushes to Paris to immerse us in her world of animals, divinities, magic and epic tales. Through installations, sculptures and numerous frescoes, Wenna tells the story of Chinese mythology in her own unique way, in a journey adapted to young visitors. To celebrate Franco-Chinese cultural collaboration, the artist has blended elements from both countries, through various traditional objects or winks hidden in the works.

The exhibition is divided into four chapters. The tour is interactive and immersive, and takes the form of a treasure hunt that should put stars in the eyes of little visitors... and older visitors alike.

We first enter the temple of the cat Mào, the god of cats, symbol of longevity and protector of the home. In this sanctuary, you can admire various cat gods imagined by the artist, and some French guests; "famous" cats like the Black Cat.

We follow these tomcats through a labyrinth decorated with numerous frescoes, recounting the lives and exploits of several deities invented by the Chinese artist. Wenna then evokes the history of her country, with a room dedicated to the sea, recalling the Silk Road, immigration and the importance of the marine world for China.

Finally, the artist invites us to raise our eyes to the sky, to discover his Milky Way. Paintings, installations, projections: the tour ends in a dreamlike, fairy-tale world.

With her Oh my Gods exhibition, Wenna mixes traditional and modern culture, French and Chinese references, to create a magical journey at the Musée en Herbe.
