Porte de Montmartre hides a beautiful navy blue window with lots of books on display: it's the Petit Ney, an associative café in the 18th arrondissement, which offers workshops for families, a café area, books but above all, a space for the little ones.

Between the metro stations Porte de Clignancourt and Porte de Saint-Ouen, you can find the Petit Ney, a literary café installed on the edge of Paris and managed by local residents. Although the café is primarily an association, it is open to all: members and non-members are welcomed with open arms in this space dedicated to reading and conviviality.

For children, there is thePoussiney space, with books and games for all ages, open outside the workshops, on Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:30 to 6:00 pm! You can even borrow the books or games and bring them back later. Otherwise, two Saturdays a month from 10am to 12:30pm, there is also the Café des tout petits, to play with your children and/or grandchildren (up to 6 years old).

On Wednesdays, children's day, the volunteers of Le Petit Ney also organize cooking workshops for children, one Wednesday a month from 2 to 5 pm. On the program, there is also the creative leisure time adapted to all,"Poussiney créatif", which takes place in the associative café, once a month on Wednesday!

For the older ones (teenagers or adults), the Petit Ney offers many reading cafés to discuss a common reading, game cafés, writing workshops, slam... And you can also share a rest with the volunteers and inhabitants of the district during lunches or brunches organized by the participative canteen, every Friday, one Saturday per month and every first Wednesday of the month as well, to cook and then share a meal together (on registration, free participation but membership required). We strongly advise you to go there!
