Every September is different: the end of the vacations, the start of the new school year, the arrival of rain andautumn, falling temperatures... And yet, if there's one thing we never tire of in September, it's the Journées du Patrimoine, which return every year in mid-September. So, on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September 2023, join us in Paris and throughout the Île-de-France region to discover the most beautiful churches, some of our places of power, the great Parisian institutions, the capital's secret places ... You can also visit artists' studios, which are opening their doors exclusively for the Journées du Patrimoine 2023.
In the 14th arrondissement, theClaude de Soria studio bears the name of the sculptress who owned it. After studying with famous artists such as Fernand Léger (painting) and Ossip Zadkine (sculpture), Claude de Soria specialized in abstract sculpture. Her studio in the 14th arrondissement opened to the public for the first time in 2022 after extensive renovations: since then, you can also discover it during the Journées du Patrimoine and learn more about the many works Claude de Soria left behind, in the studio where she created on a daily basis.
