For Nuit des Musées 2024, which this year takes place on Saturday May 18, 2024, the Château de Brie-Comte-Robert, also known as the Centre d'interprétation du patrimoine, is offering a variety of free activities for the whole family.
We're off to Seine-et-Marne to discover the Château de Brie-Comte-Robert, an ideal spot for lovers of history and medieval architecture. This historic monument, dating back to the 12th century, offers us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the history of feudal France while enjoying the beauty and tranquility of its setting. Founded by Robert I de Dreux, brother of King Louis VII, the château bears witness to the architectural and historical evolution of the region. Take part in a captivating fun-filled investigation: the castle's archaeologist needs your help to uncover the mystery hidden by its former inhabitants. This unique adventure will lead you into a dialogue with the spirits of yesteryear...
Admission is free, but places are limited and must be reserved. The event is open to participants aged 8 and over. Sessions take place at predefined times: 6pm, 6:45pm, 7:30pm, 8:15pm, 9:30pm, 10:15pm, and 11pm, with an estimated duration of 45 minutes per game. To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend arriving early. Please note that any delay could result in the cancellation of your reservation, which would be a shame.
You can also explore the Centre d'Interprétation du Patrimoine (Heritage Interpretation Center) through a fun and educational treasure hunt, highlighting the eighteenth-century archaeological collections. Thanks to a variety of workshops, games and displays, this trail offers a delightful plunge back in time. The event is free and open to all, from 6pm to 11:30pm.
