In Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, the Fête de la Musique 2023 promises to be an unforgettable event! On June 21 and Saturday June 24, the towns of Coignières, Guyancourt, Elancourt, Voisins-le-Bretonneux, Montigny-le-Bretonneux, Les Clayes-sous-Bois, Plaisir, Trappes and Maurepas will be alive with concerts and other events. It's the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in a whirlwind of musical genres. You'll be spoilt for choice!

- Coignières:
Location: Parc de la Prévenderi
Time: from 7pm
Details: Once again this year, the town of Coignières will be showcasing a wide range of musical genres! Amateur and professional musicians and singers of all ages will take to the stage, to the delight of young and old alike.
- Guyancourt:
Location: in town / at La Batterie
Time: from 5:30pm
Details: The whole town gets into the spirit of the Fête de la Musique, with a variety of musical events taking place on June 21, from 5 p.m. onwards, at a number of local community centers. The Maison de quartier Renoir, for example, will be hosting a pop rock group, while the Maison de quartier Monod will be showcasing gospel music. In front of the town hall, you'll find the Ukulele So SQY club, and the Calibeurdaine association will be performing Breton songs and dances. The Place du Marché will feature electro music, the Place Jacques Brel soul pop, while the Brasserie de Villaroy will play host to Woodrock, a cover of rock classics. Concerts take place all over the town. Not to mention, of course, La Batterie, fully mobilized for the event, with its various spaces (studio parking lot, concert hall, amphitheatre, auditorium, music school hall) featuring rock, pop, variety, world music, reggae, children's choirs and many other performances.
- Les Clayes-sous-Bois:
Venue: Espace Philippe Noiret
Time: 7pm to 11pm
Details: Rock, pop and jazz with 4 local bands. Food trucks will be on hand for on-site refreshments. Join us on June 21 from 7pm to 11pm at Espace Noiret, where four local bands will be performing in different universes.
- Montigny-le-Bretonneux:
Venue: Parvis Arnaud Beltrame / Forum des arts
Time: 7pm-9pm
Details: For the 2nd year running, the Place Arnaud Beltrame, in front of the Charles Aznavour Arts Forum, inaugurated at the end of March 2022, will host the festivities on June 21. Two concerts are on offer: at 7 p.m., the conservatory ensembles, and at 9 p.m., the group Ceux qui marchent debout, an ensemble of seven musicians and singers, with a heavy funk style, using brass band instruments. Information on 01 30 64 15 73. A few days earlier, on June 18, another musical rendez-vous, the concert by the 4 Vents choir, takes place at 6 p.m. in the Saint-Martin church. The repertoire will be varied, and participation will be by hat, with proceeds going to the Balisqy food store.
- Pleasure:
Location: Parc de l'Hôtel de Ville
Time: 5:30 pm to 11 pm
Details: Join us on June 21 from 5:30 pm to 11 pm in the Parc de l'Hôtel de Ville for several concerts. "Professional bands and musicians from the conservatory will be on hand [...] to keep you dancing all evening long", says the commune.
- Trappes:
Location: Parc des Bateleurs / Conservatoire forecourt
Time: from 4pm
Details: 3 stages with a variety of music. Rendezvous at Parc des Bateleurs and on the Conservatoire forecourt on June 21 from 4 pm. There will be open stages for amateur musicians and dancers from Trappes, as well as students and teachers from the Conservatoire, and introductory workshops. At 9 p.m., the Dial show orchestra performs.
- Voisins-le-Bretonneux:
Location: In the town's neighborhoods
Time: from 6 p.m.
Details: The Fête de la Musique is organized in different areas of the town. For those in the town center, the meeting place is the square in front of the town hall, the Grange aux sons, the church, as well as various bars and restaurants where there will be performances by several ensembles, solo musicians and choirs. In the Plan de l'Église district, the Alfred de Vigny cultural center will welcome pianist Éric Dannenmuller and his students, as well as performances by the Art par la Joie association and other artists. For those in the Lac district, there will be a musical performance on the banks of the Sourderie reservoir, featuring music from films and video games, among others. In the Grande Île district, you can meet up in front of the Maison de la Grande Île, where the Multi'sons association will be offering a concert of rock covers. And finally, residents of the Bretonnière district can enjoy the Full Bazar Small Band, a musical group that fuses elements of funk, soul and electro, near the entrance to their neighborhood.
- Élancourt en fête, Saturday June 24, 2023:
Location: Stade Boniface
Time: 9pm to 12am
Details: Élancourt celebrates the arrival of summer with a free concert at the Stade André Boniface on Saturday, June 24, starting at 9pm. What's more, from 3pm to 7pm, there's plenty of entertainment to suit all tastes. The "80s to 2000s" concert will feature guest stars Pedro Castaño, who made the whole of France dance to the "Macarena", Patrick Hernandez, interpreter of the famous "Born to be Alive", ... and many other surprise guests.
- Maurepas Saturday June 24, 2023:
Location: various venues
Time: from 4pm
Details: The Fête de la Musique in Maurepas will take place on June 24. Join us at V and B, where seven concerts will be held on two stages from 4pm to midnight. Other establishments such as Le Maurepas, Le Social, Le Village, Crep's Café, Chick'tacos and Chez Tang will also be hosting artists on their terraces for the annual "Terrasses en musique".
