Nuit Blanche 2023 returns to Paris on Saturday, June 3, 2023 for its 21st edition! Discover the program at the Halle des Blancs Manteaux, at the crossroads of contemporary and live art.

Nuit Blanche, thefree cultural event par excellence, returns to set the Parisian night ablaze with creative flamboyance on Saturday, June 3, 2023. Like a cosmic ball, it illuminates the streets with a thousand lights, transforming the city into an infinite playground. Daring artists, unusual installations, spellbinding performances: every corner reveals a new surprise. Museums come alive and monuments are adorned with ephemeral illuminations, while spectators let themselves be guided by a vibrant artistic pulse.

In addition to the major institutions, a number of more confidential venues are also taking part in the festivities! Such is the case of the Halle des Blancs Manteaux. Formerly a market built in 1813 under the orders of Napoleon 1st, the Halle des Blancs Manteaux has become an emblematic cultural venue where history and modernity meet in a bohemian-branched atmosphere, making it a hotspot for art enthusiasts, right in the heart of the Marais. Between exhibitions by emerging artists, intimate concerts, theatrical performances and inspiring lectures, Halle des Blancs Manteaux offers a teeming artistic universe where creative minds meet for exciting exchanges. But it doesn't stop there! The address also attracts fashionistas, hipsters and style aficionados to its designer markets, pop-up stores and vintage events. A veritable temple to artistic expression and trends!

  • JULIE COULON / Ring of my dreams
From Saturday June 01, 2024 to Sunday June 02, 2024: Saturday from 7:00 pm to 2:00 am

Julie Coulon lives between Paris and New York. She works with film symbols that are part documentary, part fiction: convertible drive-ins, kisses, boxers, bikers, skateboarders. Both figurative and conceptual, her practice is photographic, filmic, performative and curatorial.
Ring of My Dreams: chromed wired microphones and cathode-ray screens immerse the crowd in an unprecedented performance embodying the dreams and sensuality of boxing, Hollywood's most filmed sport. Transforming the boxing match into a real show, in which the boxer's physical performance is matched by the actor's artistic performance. Images from the rooftops of New York, with a ballet of athletes and artists. Live commentary will be provided for all matches.
