Nuit Blanche is Paris's flagship autumn event, where contemporary art takes over urban spaces, brimming with imagination and creativity, giving everyone the chance to enjoy a unique and fascinating cultural experience. Once again this year, on June 3, 2023, art lights up the night and the city's iconic landmarks, inviting us to a true nocturnal exploration. Prepare to be amazed!
One of the highlights of this year's event is Antiphona, a sound performance by artist Jérôme Girard. It's a veritable sonic dialogue between two banks of the Seine, orchestrated by two players of the conch shell, the oldest instrument known to man. Like a mystical symphony of the night, the performers call out in the darkness and answer each other, in a game of correspondence that evokes ancient chants. This work of sound art promises a timeless journey between Alfortville and Vitry-sur-Seine.
For Nuit Blanche 2023, on the Pont du Port à l'Anglais in Vitry-sur-Seine, you'll find yourself at the heart of this sonic communication between the two banks, enveloped in this almost mystical atmosphere. A rare opportunity to experience art in such an immersive and innovative way. Don't miss this unique opportunity to experience art and culture like never before!
As part of the 2024 Olympic Games, Kilowatt and Monstr are teaming up to create five giant industrial birds, around 8m high. Set up along the banks of the Seine, these large harbor stilt-walkers will offer the public an unprecedented panorama, blending fantasy and the imaginary of the seaside.
On the occasion of the Nuit Blanche 2024, at nightfall, miracle! The machines come to life, and the tops of their heads burst into flames in a scenography that is both aural and visual, adding a spectacular dimension for total reverie and amazement.
