Depuis 1968 Anne et Patrick Poirier qui exposent dans les institutions les plus prestigieuses, développent une œuvre protéiforme et visionnaire qui révèle la fragilité des civilisations, des cultures et de la nature.
L’installation colorée d’Anne et Patrick Poirier lance un hymne à la vie, la vie en abondance. Ces deux fenêtres en verre antique argenté, Eros et Gaïa, s'inscrivent dans la suite des miroirs créés pour le Palazzo Butera à Palerme (2018). Elles ont été montrées pour la première fois par Jean-Gabriel Mitterrand dans l’exposition Errances (2021) au Domaine du Muy. Ces miroirs en ogive, écho contemporain des baies de Saint-Séverin qui leur fait face, renvoient l’image du monde dans tous ses éclats.
