After the first look of Dune, Denis Villeneuve’s latest science-fiction movie – based on Frank Herbert’s work – released during lockdown, and a first trailer this Fall, Warner studios have announced the highly anticipated movie will eventually be out in France on September 15, 2021, namely a month before the U.S.

Blade Runner 2049 and Arrival director is back with a new futuristic movie starring Timothée Chalamet (Little Women, Beautiful Boy) as the hero, Paul Atreides, as well as Charlotte Rampling (The Sense of an Ending), Rebecca Ferguson (The Kid Who Would Be King) and even Jason Momoa (Aquaman), as well as Zendaya – MJ from Sony’s Spiderman as Chani. A very international cast as the movie is shot on natural sets in Budapest and Jordan.
Plot:
DUNE tells Paul Atreides’ story, a young man as talented as brilliant destined for knowing an uncommon destiny he cannot wrap his head around. Because if he wants to save the future of his family and his people, he would have to travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe – the only one that can supply the most precious resource in the world, able to increase the humanity’s power. As evil forces are fighting for the control of the planet, only those who can overcome their fears can survive…
