Over the past decade, the Parisian drag scene has gone from strength to strength! It's a veritable phenomenon, with a colorful artistic universe that unites its aficionados around ultra-cool events. And there's good news for artists and audiences alike: the Ghost Elektra Drag & Queer Market will be back on the weekend of May 27 and 28, 2023, just outside Paris. Head for Cité Fertile, Pantin's eco-responsible third-party venue, for its 4th edition, which promises to be more festive than ever!
This year's Drag & Queer Market brings together 55 LGBTQIA+ exhibitors, showcasing the very best in arts and crafts: clothing, costumes, accessories, wigs, decoration, photography, tattoos and much more! Something to please drag kings & drag queens, and inspire the crowds!
All weekend long, the Drag & Queer Market will vibrate to the rhythm of a crazy program. DJ sets, round-table discussions and drag shows with a crazy cast! The line-up includes Dakota Schiffer, former contestant in the 4th seasonof RuPaul's Drag Race UK, Rose & Punani, Hungry, Choriza May (RuPaul's Drag Race UK), and Drag Couenne, winner of the 1st season of RuPaul's Drag Race Belgium . For budding artists, there will also be an open stage, drag king make-up workshops on Sunday, and a fancy make-up session for children on Saturday. Please note that the event is open to donations (€4 to €7 recommended).
