WithEurovision 2024 due to take place in Malmö, Sweden next May, we've already got the name of the very first candidate for the new, 68th edition of the song contest. Mustii, as she is known, will be representing Belgium next spring, and is looking forward to bringing home the trophy!
Both a singer and composer, as well as an actor and director, the 32-year-old Belgian is far from an unknown, having already made several appearances in TV movies, such as Yves Rénier's " Je voulais juste rentrer chez moi ", as well as in films, including Julia Ducournau's sultry " Grave " and Kilian Riedhof's " Vous n'aurez pas ma haine ". His theater credits include William Shakespeare's Hamlet. Mustii, whose real name is Thomas Mustin, is also a familiar face on the small screen, as a member of the jury for the TV show Drag Race Belgique.
Mustii 's music credits include an EP and two opuses,"21st century Boy", released in 2018, and"It's Happening now", out in 2021. So what will Mustii be singing next May in Sweden, in her bid to take first place in the competition? For the time being, the suspense remains. But there's no doubt that the artist will do his utmost to do even better than Gustaph, Belgium's representative in 2023, who came 7th in the contest with his song " Because of you ".
The 68thEurovision Song Contest returns on May 7 and 9 for the semi-finals, followed by the grand final on May 11, 2024. Following the victory of Sweden's Loreen, just ahead of Finland's Käärijä, the next edition ofEurovision will take place in Sweden, more precisely in Malmö.
