Conseil de famille, a comedy by Amanda Sthers and Morgan Spillemaecker, can be seen on stage at the Comédie de Paris in the 9th arrondissement. The play runs until June 30, 2024, giving you the chance to discover the life of a family you've never met, but which will surely remind you of your own.
The play features four actors playing three children and their mother. The family is made up of a son who is completely addicted to money, a daughter who can't stand her children, and another son, a lazy artist. The mother, played by Aude Thirion, tells them at a family dinner that she's going to live only for herself, and the dinner takes a different turn...
The comedy was already a success on stage some ten years ago, and now returns with a new staging by Morgan Spillemaecker. The playwrights and director decided not to simply revive the play, but to reinvent it with new actors and a different staging.
