The Paris fashion museum is organizing a major retrospective of Paolo Roversi's work. Running from March 16 to July 14, 2024, the exhibition looks back over the artist's 50-year career, from his apprenticeship in Bologna to his latest successes, including publications in Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire, and collaborations with fashion designers such as Yohji Yamamoto, Romeo Gigli, Rei Kawakubo...
A total of 140 photographs, archives, unpublished prints, Polaroids, magazines and catalogs are on show in this exhibition, which is plunged into darkness, as if in a photographic chamber. The Palais Galliera has reconstructed the artist's studio, allowing us to discover his creative process, his rich and colorful imagination, the highlights of his career...
Along the way, you can admire the many photographs taken by Paolo Roversi over the last 50 years: you can see his style change, assert itself and become an admired and still unrivalled trademark. Theexhibition highlights the various details that make each shot a work of art.
