This is great news for all tasty pastry fans, and especially Cédric Grolet’s fans: the pastry chef reopens his Opéra store and countless sweet treats await on site.
Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the bakery-patisserie is yet only open by booking. To do so, head to Cédric Grolet's website and book your 2-hour timeslot to come and enjoy something new out of the menu.
But what do we have on this new menu? First, viennoiseries, you have croissant and pain au chocolat, a larger version of the “Fleur de noisette” and a novelty: the “Fleur de fruits” with homemade marmalade based on seasonal fruits.
Moving on to pastries, you have the Fleur de Vanille, the Paris Brest, the fruit tarts based on shortcrust (Ciflorette strawberries, wild strawberries, raspberries and pistachio) and the Corbeilles de fruits (Ciflorette strawberries, wild strawberries, raspberries) that are a fusion between viennoiseries and pastry (which dough is based on croissant dough) and that can be stored as any other viennoiseries, at room temperature. There are also the unmissable vanilla custard pie, the chocolate cake and fruit and chocolate chip cookies.
Last but least, bread, traditional baguette, cereal bread and focaccia are available. And for sandwiches, you have the classic ham and cheese, a vegetarian sandwich: homemade Focaccia with Stracciatella/tomatoes/pesto as well as an avocado toast.
And for all those wondering, yes, the Fleur de Mai, in partnership with Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse is available online and in store!
