Then it's time to discover Le Comptoir de la Madeleine, this new gourmet address that has taken up residence at 17 rue Victor Massé in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. Created by Quentin Hua, this boutique-workshop is dedicated to this travel cake that makes us all fall back in childhood.
Both soft and crispy on the edges, Quentin's madeleine is the real madeleine as we like it and reminds us of the ones we used to find in Parisian bistros.
After years spent in the field of finance, Quentin Hua decided at the age of 30 to embark on another adventure that is close to his heart: the creation of madeleines. Since his childhood, Quentin has always appreciated the taste of the madeleine, which he has tasted many times throughout France. It was during a particular tasting in a bistro in the South of France that he fell in love with Madeleine. He decided to try to reproduce this sensation by making his own recipe. After more than 200 attempts, inspirations and personal variations, Quentin was finally able to develop a recipe that offers him the true emotion of Proust's Madeleine.
Quentin Hua's Comptoir de Madeleine is a boutique-workshop that has been imagined to seduce passers-by on the street. Inspired by Anglo-Saxon street food kiosks, the spot is open in front and attracts our attention to make us salivate. Once inside, we can admire the workshop where everything is made on the spot and smell the delicious smells of hot cookies that escape from the baking throughout the day.

As a bonus, the store offers a short-lived madeleine of the moment, which will change with the seasons. Matcha, pistachio or 4 spices, will be among the discoveries that are on the program.
