And now it's taking part in the Fête de la Science dance, the leading event for enthusiasts and the curious who want to conquer the world of science!

This concept, designed for young and old alike, invites us to take over participating venues to enjoy often-free activities and exceptional events that help us discover the secrets of how our world works, as well as fun experiments. Inside the head of Gilgamesh

What goes on in a sportsman's head in the seconds leading up to a performance? Neuroscience is capable of analyzing, modeling and representing the brain activity required to anticipate and prepare the mental data needed to carry out a complex action. It's the famous concentration, the mental preparation of athletes, the anticipation of musicians. Fighting, but also different learning situations, or the perception of space in the epic of Gilgamesh are the common thread running through this show. Thanks to live coding sonification techniques, the audience can hear the measured data, the results of the algorithms simulating these behaviors, like music. The show is divided into three parts. The first part contextualizes the epic of Gilgamesh, the second takes up certain key moments in the story and explains the mental activity involved, simulating it with algorithms and detailing MRIs by making them sound. The third part revisits these different stages to produce a kind of musical epic, "inside the head of Gilgamesh".
