Throughout the year, theInstitut du Monde Arabe (IMA ) offers a rich program of events for the enjoyment of Parisians of all ages. This unmissable spot makes us discover the Arab culture through the prism ofexhibitions andexciting experiences. This time, it gives us an appointment from September 27, 2022 to March 19, 2023 for a highlight of LGBTQIA+ creators from the diasporas and the Arab world.
This exhibition is "Habibi, the revolutions of love". For this ode to tolerance and freedom, the Arab World Institute brings together 23 artists: Soufiane Ababri Mohamad Abdouni, Salih Basheer, Chaza Charafeddine Darvish x MyKali, Léa Djeziri x SHIFT collective Fadi Elias, Raed Ibrahim, Jeanne & Moreau, Joseph Kaï, Kubra Khademi, Anya Kneez x My Kali, Tarek Lakhrissi, Sido Lansari, Camille Farah Lenain, Khookha McQueer, Mashrou' Leila, Omar Mismar, Lalla Rami, SHANIDAFLAVA, Turtle White RIDIKKULUZ, Alireza Shojaian, Aïcha Snoussi and Khaled Takreti.
The exhibition, which spans 750m², sets the standard for addressing a universal question around our identity and will be punctuated by several highlights including DJ sets, performances, voguing, drag shows and more. So a word of advice, watch out for the program!
