The House of Gucci is back on our screens with a brand-new series retracing the saga of the famous Italian family, produced by Gaumont and Alcor Film. From its modest beginnings to its meteoric rise, not without its share of ups and downs, rediscover the history of the unfiltered Italian label.

Ladies and Gentlemen, fashion and cinema addicts - following Ridley Scott's House of Gucci, the House of Gucci is about to hit our screens once again with an event series produced by Gaumont and Alcor Film, an independent production company founded and run by Giorgio Gucci, great-grandson of the brand's creator. An opportunity to delve even deeper into the inner workings of this Italian fashion legend!

We go back in time to the days of Guccio Gucci, son of Tuscan craftsmen, who, interested in leather goods, opened his own luggage store in Italy in 1921. That's where it all began. But the series follows in the footsteps ofAldo Gucci, his son. Aldo, the mastermind behind the brand's worldwide success, opened the first boutique in Rome in the late 30s, and is notably responsible for the House's double-G logo and distinctive red and green stripes.

Ambitious, Aldo, aided by his brother Rodolfo, exported the label to the United States, then internationally. His handbags became the it-bags of the day, and the biggest celebrities snapped them up!

"From a modest artisan workshop in Florence to one of the most important fashion houses in Italy and the world, this series traces the saga of the Gucci family, the true story behind the myth, without artifice or pretense.
