Synopsis of the escape game The Treasure of the Red Sword at Taktic:

"You are a team of privateers commissioned by King Louis XIV to put an end to the actions of many pirates in the Caribbean. Officially anyway... because unofficially, you have orders to sink all the English and Spanish ships you find. Your king needs to extend his influence in the Americas and conquer new territories in order to finance the fabulous castle he is building at Versailles. Without the English and the Spanish, the Kingdom of France would undoubtedly be the most powerful!

One day, during an assault on a Spanish frigate, some of the crew members you took prisoner confessed their secret: their mission was to find the pirate Red Saber, who had raided three gold-laden galleons returning from Mexico. The stolen fortune is colossal... So you decide to embark on this new adventure!

But years go by and Red Saber remains untraceable. Despite the numerous misdeeds he commits in the region, you are unable to locate him. Your king is getting impatient, and so is your crew. Everyone is on edge. After several months of useless tracking at sea, you decide to refuel one last time in the Caribbean before returning to France.When you arrive at the Port of Saint-Martin, you see the Triomphant, a French navy ship that you know for sure was attacked by Sabre Rouge because you rescued the last surviving crew member...
