This year, during the Easter vacations, how about a little trip to the most famous (and richest) museum in Paris? Of course, the Louvre comes to mind and even if it's not the friendly museum you'd think of at first, they offer tons of activities for kids and families!

Here we go again: one more round of school vacations with the kids, as it's soon the Easter vacations, from April 22 to May 9, 2023. So, how to keep busy with the little ones during this period? Go to the Louvre Museum for a fun and cultural family outing!

What's on the agenda for the Easter vacations ? Of course, there are the traditional guided tours for young people, which the museum offers from the age of 4, storytelling tours in some of the museum's rooms (accessible to toddlers, including babies), workshops... The best thing about going to the Louvre with your children is that all the workshops are free, provided you have a valid admission ticket and reserve in advance! For the guided tours or storytelling, count €12 in addition to the admission ticket for an adult and €8 for a child.

Every day and all day long, a special area for families is set up: in the Forum area, meet with the children in the Studio, to play assembly games, construction games, the giant memory of silhouettes, discover the sensory table, read quietly... The Studio has been designed in connection with the museum's sculpture collections and various activities are planned during the vacations, including the discovery of the material library!

To find out all about the works of art in the Louvre, mediators will be on hand in the Richelieu wing for 20-minute mini-mediations every day at 10:30 am, 11:00 am, 11:30 am, 2:30 pm, 3:00 pm, and 3:30 pm during the Easter vacations! And let's not forget the big family weekend dedicated to Islamic art, which falls on the very first weekend of the vacations - April 22 and 23 - with guided tours and creative workshops for the whole family.

At home, the Petit Louvre offers a whole host of activities to keep the family learning and discovering the Louvre's masterpieces: treasure hunts, storytelling, culinary arts, plastic arts, coloring... There's plenty to keep you busy during the Easter vacations of 2023!
