Here's a release that should delight Pokémon fans... The Val d'Europe shopping center will be imbued with the magic of the franchise through an artistic experience, Pokémon: l'art sous toutes ses formes, to be discovered from October 16 to November 12, 2023. Following on from the success of the previous edition at the Trafford Centre in the UK, this event, inspired by a treasure hunt, promises to appeal to young and old alike, while offering an original journey through the various artistic expressions of the Pokémon universe.
The event will be an opportunity for visitors to discover hidden works of art that pay tribute to the 151 iconic Pokémon from the Kanto region, which are also part of the latest expansion to the popular Pokémon Trading Card Game : Scarlet and Violet. These works, scattered throughout the mall, will embrace a variety of artistic styles, from stained glass to abstract art.
Lucky participants in this art treasure hunt will receive a free activity booklet, which will guide them on their quest to find the ten major works hidden away. And that's not all! Successful participants will be eligible for limited-edition Pokémon posters available at Auchan, Fnac and Micromania/Zing de Val d'Europe, with a distinct design for each retailer.
But the experience doesn't stop there! As part of the Pokémon Ensemble campaign, various activities are organized to immerse visitors in the heart of the Pokémon universe. From the Pokémon Bus stationed on October 16, to regular photo opportunities with Pikachu and Evoli, and Pokémon Trading Card Game swaps, the program promises to be packed with surprises.
And for Pokémon GO fans, exclusive activities are planned in the Val d' Europe area to enrich their in-game experience. Anne-Catherine Tournon, Director of the Val d'Europe shopping center, comments:"With the graphic universe and colorful characters of Pokémon as a backdrop, this adventure will unite all the generations that make up our clientele". She continues:"The center is set to become the playground for a thrilling treasure hunt, and to welcome magnificent Pokémon works of art".
