The Rendez-Vous aux Jardins invites you to enjoy a weekend of bucolic cultural delights in the heart of private and public parks and gardens. Every year in spring, this event celebrates our green heritage with guided tours and special events. It's a fabulous open-air program to enjoy with friends, family or just the two of you . This year, the date is set for the weekend of May 31 to June 2, 2024, and for the occasion, numerous events are being prepared in Paris and throughout theÎle-de-France region. All the more reason to (re)discover our botanical treasures in often surprising ways.
And at Yvelines, there's plenty to do! The 78 department of Yvelines showcases its bucolic heritage through tours organized throughout the region. In the town of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, for example, you can visit the Musée Départemental Maurice Denis, located in the heart of the eponymous artist's home and studio. Here you'll discover a collection of works by Maurice Denis, as well as by Symbolist and Nabis painters. The Rendez-Vous aux Jardins showcases the museum's beautiful garden on the hillside of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Here, landscape follows landscape, from the rose garden to the terrace, from Bourdelle sculptures to the Théâtre de Verdure.
