Cocoön, the warm bar serving original seasonal cocktails in Paris 11th arrondissement

Craving a quiet night out with friends, in a warm place serving original and flavorsome cocktails? Here is your new favorite spot, Cocoön cocktail bar, in Paris 11^th arrondissement! The place is aptly named as it displays a laid-back atmosphere, quiet soft lights and pastel hues. Each season, the bar changes the menu and renews cocktails to make us discover the art of mixology for a soft price.

For the bar’s first Fall season – it opened in 2022 – the emphasize is put on surprising flavors yet matching wonderfully well. All cocktails cost €12, so you can have several and not breaking the bank. For those who do not wish to drink alcohols, original drinks also come in a soft version, as well as fruit juices. To keep up through the night despite several glasses, a few treats are available such as hot dogs, salads, steamed gyozas or even chocolate cake!

In terms of cocktails, we are sure you cannot find them somewhere else! These original creations fit all tastes for softer or spicier cocktails. Foodies can go for the Kubrick – a tribute to cinema – served in a pop corn box (pop corns you can eat!) with rum, maple syrup, penja pepper, lime, ginger beer and pop-corn syrup!

More traditional, the In My Champ mixes cherry (or peach) cream, vodka, champagne, lime and almond to fizz in the mouth. It remains quite soft despite the blend of alcohols and is very balanced. We also went for a more floral and more summery cocktail, the Flower Power, and no doubt it was the biggest surprise of the night, it was so delightful and sweet it does not taste like alcohol at all. With gin, Saint-Germain liquor, lavender syrup, yuzu juice and basil, in a richly decorated glass, this is one of the cocktails you must have as long as it is still served!

Wrap up with a seasonal cocktail, the Butter Not, between amarula, vodka, butternut syrup and pumpkin spices and walnut, perfect for a cozy moment, watching the rain fall, all nice and toasty, cuddling up on a soft chair. Fans of mezcal, tequila, rum and whisky will be also very happy with the dozen of original cocktails served at Cocoön, made by hand and with love! The place being rather small, do not hesitate to reserve ahead of time!
