An impressive fire is currently raging in the northwest of Paris. The burning building is believed to be the Syctom selective collection sorting center, located in the 17th arrondissement, not far from Parc des Batignolles and the Paris Courthouse, between Porte d'Asnières and Porte de Clichy. A large cloud of smoke could be seen in the Paris sky.
Several sectors are currently closed: the Porte d'Asnières area, Rue de Saussure, Rue Cardinet, Avenue de la Porte de Clichy and Parc Martin Luther King. The fire area will be cleaned up by the Mairie de Paris.
We advise you to remain cautious, to stay away from the area to facilitate the work of the emergency services, and to close your windows to avoid exposure to the fumes.
