If you're in Gennevilliers, beware: a fire broke out in the Grésillons district late this afternoon, releasing thick black smoke visible from Paris. While some had claimed that the fire had occurred atAMP Visual TV, on rue des Noels, the company itself provided further details, explaining that the fire concerned its neighbor, Turbo's Hoet.
According to BFMTV, it was also a"warehouse in a truck accessory company". Information confirmed by the Préfecture de Police.
Note that the fire department is on site. And as ourActu.fr colleagues explain, the fire was"finally brought under control without spreading to the neighboring company" at 7.10pm. As reported in Le Parisien, the Paris fire department then"deployed an NRBC unit to measure the nuclear, radiological, biological and chemical threat". And according to the first measurements taken, the firefighters were able to confirm that"the concentration of smoke did not present a danger to the population", again according to Le Parisien. Further analyses are currently underway.
