Trail, rando or even trekking enthusiasts: if you're looking for a circuit with positive gradients, the 25 bumps should please you. Located in the heart of theFontainebleau forest, and more precisely in the Trois Pignons massif, at Noisy-sur-École (77), the course is the talk of Paris and the Ile-de-France region.
As you embark on this ascent, we advise you to be ingood physical condition, with well-muscled calves and a well-trained cardio system, as the 25-moguls circuit is no easy ride. As its name suggests, it comprises a total of twenty-five bumps, all located within the 3 Pignons massif. As you walk along its paths, you'll discover some of the treasures hidden in the heart of the Forêt de Fontainebleau, including the Cul-de-Chien sands, the Tortue, the Souris, the Éléphant perché and the Bilboquet boulders...
In the past, the circuit was used by mountaineers to train before setting off for the high mountains. Nowadays, it's used by many amateur sportsmen and women, with a loop of around 16 km and over 800 metres of ascent. Allow between 5 and 7 hours, depending on your walking speed, to complete these legendary 25 moguls. Departure is from the Croix-Saint-Jérôme parking lot, after passing Arbonne-la-Forêt and heading towards Milly-la-Forêt.
