Punch Boxing x Lagree: the innovative concept combining cardio and strength training

How about combining cardio and muscle strengthening for a quality workout? That's what the Punch Boxing gym is offering with its brand new class: Punch Boxing x Lagree. A class offering 50% boxing and 50% lagree to give you the maximum workout.

While Lagree gyms are springing up all over the capital, a new discipline is being introduced in the 9th arrondissement. Nestled at 24 rue de Chauchat, the Punch Boxing gym is offering a new class never before seen in Paris: Punch Boxing x Lagree. The concept? 50% boxing, 50% Lagree classes on Microreformers.

But how does the session work? Each session lasts 50 minutes, and a coach accompanies you during ten workshops to music: your class will take place half in your boxing gloves and half on the Microreformer (which is a more compact version of the classic Reformer). In terms of equipment, you'll need non-slip socks and under-gloves, which you can buy directly from the studio; the studio will lend you the boxing gloves. You can choose to put your sneakers back on when you switch to boxing, but there's no obligation.

On the Lagree side, you'll perform slow, demanding movements: sheathing, squats, lunges - your whole body will be working and your deep muscles will be stimulated. On the boxing side: time for cardio. This is where you let off steam: fast, powerful or jumping punches, you'll link up different combinations.

These new Lagree x Punch boxing sessions are ideal for those who want to burn calories while building muscle. The class is accessible to all, and if the exercises seem too difficult you can of course adapt the session to your needs. The coach will be there to motivate you, although he can't deal with every single person, as the gym is large and often very full.
