For unique wellness experiences, try practicing yoga inside a Parisian museum! Several cultural institutions, such as the Louvre and the Museum of Modern Art, regularly offer these sessions, allowing visitors to combine art appreciation with fitness in a one-of-a-kind setting.

Looking for a different spot to do your downward dog pose or sun salutation? Just the thing, because several Paris museums are opening their doors to you to practice your yoga session amidst works of art. Nourish your body and mind with a more sensory approach to culture. Choose your favorite museum, and get zen, close to a sculpture, in a museum garden or under the Louvre Pyramid, for just a few dozen euros.

Yoga classes at the museum

  • At the Louvre Museum – every Friday at 7 PM – on January 16 and 30, February 20, and March 13, 2026 – €31

Yoga mats will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish. With Charlotte Wilkins, historian and yoga teacher. To access the activity, each participant must hold a workshop ticket and a museum admission ticket.

  • At the Modern Art Museum - October 16th at 6:30 PM - €10

Let yourself be carried away by the works of the great masters of modern art, who have skilfully seized upon sport as an object of representation. Accompanied by a facilitator in front of the works, you'll practice a yoga session. A unique experience combining yoga and a discovery of the museum's collections. The workshop invites you to immerse yourself in movement, meditation and aesthetics.

  • At the Jean-Jacques Henner National Museum - twice a month - from September 13 to December 20, 2025, at 10 am - €15

Yoga teachers Camille Voituriez and Clarys Nonys offer a vinyasa yoga class in the intimate setting of the Musée National Jean-Jacques Henner. A privileged moment of well-being in a private mansion steeped in history, each participant is guided in a yoga practice for all levels, followed by a meditation in discussion with the work of the painter Jean-Jacques Henner. Mats are not provided, so please bring your own.

  • At the Musée d’Orsay — once a month on a Sunday — from October 12, 2025, to February 15, 2026, starting at 10 a.m. Tickets cost €4 for children and €10 for adults.

Family activity with children aged 6 to 12! Taking the time to look, breathe and feel is a great idea! This tour will take you into some of the museum's hidden rooms, where you and your family can make the works resonate with a practice inspired by yoga and meditation.

  • At the City of Architecture and Heritage – held every other month on a Saturday – from October 11, 2025, to June 6, 2026, at 11 a.m. – €30

With Aurélie Delarue and a museum mediator, take time out for yourself and experience a sensitive, immersive approach to the museum's inspiring spaces. 2h30 just for you. In contact with the works of art, disconnect to better reconnect with yourself and your environment: this is the concept of yoga at the Cité! Bring comfortable clothing and a warm jacket for moments of relaxation. Yoga mats provided.

  • At the Gustave Moreau Museum - twice a month on Mondays - from March 9 to June 22, 2026, at 6:30 PM - €20

On the second-floor workshop, alongside yoga instructor Camille Voituriez, this class offers a well-rounded session that begins with a dynamic segment to loosen muscles and release tension. It then transitions into a slower, yin yoga-inspired phase focused on deep relaxation. The session concludes with a calming guided meditation, facing one of the museum's artworks. Please note that mats are not provided.
