Paris is once again ready to take a dip! From July 4, 2026 through the end of the summer, it’s time to dust off your best swimsuit and head to the Seine’s designated swimming zones.
Among the spots to take a dip that opened last year, the Grenelle swimming spot Grenelle swimming spot, just opposite Île aux Cygnes, between the Eiffel Tower, the Champ de Mars and not far from the Beaugrenelle shopping centre, makes its big return in the 15th arrondissement. A Riviera vibes at the foot of the Bir-Hakeim metro!
The site features a solarium, XXL pontoons, and a shallow pool (40 to 60 cm)—perfect for families and little swimmers. The more seasoned can stride out over 60 by 20 meters, in a marked zone built for laps, in a setting as natural as it is spectacular. That said, the current can be lively, so it helps to know how to swim at least a little.
On site, everything you need is at hand: changing rooms, showers, restrooms, a first-aid station, reception... all wrapped in a green, leafy setting, and accessible to people with reduced mobility. Even better? A nearby nautical base offers kayak sessions. Paddle to your heart’s content!
Maximum capacity? 200 people at once, including 150 in the water on the swimming side. Save the date from July 4 to the end of summer 2026 to come take a dip in this cooling spot in the heart of the capital. Because this summer in Paris, the must is to swap the classic commute for a swimsuit-dip in the Seine!
