Annette K., the unusual barge that combines sport, swimming pool, terrace and living space on the water

Ever worked out on a boat? Annette K. is your new floating gym, where you'll also find a swimming pool and a real living space, for a combination of well-being and wild parties!

Right opposite the Parc André Citroën, moored along the Seine quays, the peniche Annette K. offers an incredible program all week. Outdoor pool on the roof, small-group workouts, healthy restaurant and a dream setting: here, you do everything like at home—live, party, sweat, lunch, and share drinks with friends! With a view of the Eiffel Tower option, of course.

The boat bears the name of a famous swimmer, Annette Kellerman, born with polio—a handicap she battled through swimming. For her, swimming was lifesaving; sport became a true rebirth for the young woman, who decided to devote her life to athletics while campaigning hard to finally make it a female pursuit. Also an actress, the barge pays tribute to her, reflects her, echoes her personality, with film posters—a nod to her career—alongside sporting installations to remind us of her fight to make sport accessible to women and, last but not least, a beautiful bassin chauffé!

Throughout the day, the barge celebrates well-being with its well-being offerings, featuring its varied fitness classes (bootcamp, cycling, yoga, thighs-abs-and-glutes, pilates), its fully equipped gym (rowing machine, weights, treadmills, strength machines) and its healthy menu. The lineup? Super smoothies with ingredients great for the body, such as the Tortue Rouge with chia seeds-raspberry-banana-beet powder or the Vert Mathilde, which blends spinach-pineapple-matcha-oat milk-hemp seeds...

But that’s not all: a full menu of hot drinks including coffees, lattes, herbal infusions, teas and locally produced cold beverages. For lunch, the chef serves the soup of the day, a range of croque-monsieurs, salads, and the seasonal bowl (inspired by Buddha bowls, blending roasted vegetables, raw greens, starches and proteins…). The idea is to find at Annette K. everything you need: options for the breakfast (cakes, chia pudding, granola bowl with yogurt), a place to work out, a spot to telework, and a coffee shop offering for tea time...

In fact, the barge was conceived as a true living space, a microcosm where you could spend 24 hours without feeling the need to step outside.

Here, the vibe may bring back memories of your last spa getaway, and that’s no accident. The barge is also a care center, which offers massages, a whole perinatal care package around new moms or pregnant women, solutions for rheumatic conditions, sophrology classes, sessions with a specialized dietitian, insured medical consultations with osteopaths, physiotherapists, midwives, and support for elite athletes... As you’ve heard: here, we don’t joke about well-being, physical as well as mental, it’s at the heart of the project.

In the evening, the barge switches to night mode, the Tour Eiffel lights up and it’s time to party. In the moonlight, the guinguette spirit spreads across the boat: cocktails replace smoothies, the appetizer boards take over from the midday options, and the calories are now burned on the dance floor, during the Latin night on Wednesdays, the Thursday afterwork, or the Saturday DJ set! Each month, the programming changes to offer conferences and other thrilling activities!
