From June 13 to July 19, 2026, Parc de la Villette comes alive to the rhythm of the World Cup as it hosts a vast, free fan zone at the foot of the Géode. Screenings on giant displays, a five-a-side football pitch, and colorful brick-building workshops invite the whole family to ride the energy of the tournament.

The capital is set to roar to life once more for sport as the 2026 FIFA World Cup arrives this summer! In addition to the fan zone along the Seine, another site will take over from June 13 to July 19 in the heart of the Parc de la Villette, at the foot of the Géode in Paris. The lineup includes live screenings of a large number of matches, as well as sports and creative activities throughout the tournament, so the whole family can feel the buzz together!

Over more than 1,800 square meters and with a daily capacity of 2,000 people, this fan zone accessible to all will welcome supporters onto its pitch, turning La Villette into a giant playground thanks to free activities. From 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., you can enjoy live broadcasts or replays of the matches, with extended hours until 11 p.m. for France national team games, the semi-finals and the final.

Along the sidelines of the pitch, where you can enjoy a precision-shooting challenge and 5-on-5 games, you can watch the players from 450-seat stands, or simply park yourself there to watch the match as if you were at the stadium!

On site, families and friends will also be able to dive into the world of bricks, with a giant four-meter-tall replica of the official World Cup trophy! Construction and activity zones, supervised by staff and open to anyone aged 6 and up, invite you to handle the famous colorful little bricks, in a free-building area and a take-away station.

And you’ll head home with your own little creation. During our visit, it was a miniature World Cup—the perfect keepsake from the moment! You can also join in on a big mural by crafting your small square, which will become a striking image once the competition wraps up and everyone has contributed a piece to the project.

Other activities are on offer, including a top‑corner shot challenge, a photocall, or a small brick exhibition, featuring notably an enormous replica of the Stade de France, remarkably precise in its craftsmanship and detail!

You'll find food trucks serving quick bites with a snacking lineup, but without alcohol, as the fan zone is family-friendly. Expect to pay between €9 and €12 for burgers, hot dogs, poke bowls or nuggets, with vegetarian options, and about €4 for desserts.

Additionally, on certain days the fan zone may be open even when no matches are taking place. Be aware that there is no shaded area or shelter in the space—if it rains or gets very hot, please take precautions!

Worth noting: a free reservation is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended for quicker entry and to guarantee access to the various activities. Probably the best place in the capital to experience the competition with the whole family, kids included!
