Just steps from the hustle and bustle of the Champs-Élysées, a quiet sanctuary for well-being hides away from prying eyes. Welcome to the Château des Fleurs, a residence that celebrates the elegance of the Belle Époque with a neo-Art Nouveau décor inspired by Horta, designed by the studio Quintana Partners.
The hotel immediately draws you in with its intimate, hushed atmosphere, and inside it hides a private spa confidential. A suspended interlude, perfect for a couples’ escape, with friends, or even for a special mother-daughter moment as Mother's Day approaches.
The Château des Fleurs is a nod to the capital’s history: in the 19th century, the site was a festive garden run by Victor Mabille (the owner of the famous Bal Mabille), where fashionable society and night owls came to dance and enjoy themselves under twinkling garlands.
For visitors to Paris for a day or locals seeking a timeless moment, the venue has rolled out two premium packages designed for outside guests, to be enjoyed strictly as a pair. Note that access for non-residents isn’t open to the public; it’s only available through these advance reservation options by email or by phone.
To begin this suspended interlude, you have to step down a level. Leaving the ground floor, the atmosphere shifts instantly and you’re left feeling utterly alone in the world. In this haven of calm, the small gestures start right at the reception, where you can help yourself to a glass of water or a soothing herbal infusion.
Once you slip into the soft robe and the obligatory slippers, you enter a haven bathed in soft, diffuse light, with a warm, enveloping color palette. The heart of the spa: a pretty pool adorned with burgundy and cream graphic tiles, which recalls the Moorish style.
Although petite, it proves pleasant with its edges designed for comfortable seating. Thanks to its Jacuzzi-like swirls, the water casts magical, shifting reflections on the ceiling. That said, it's not the best place to do your breaststroke!
To extend the relaxation, the space also features a sauna with intense heat and a ceiling-mounted shower for a rain-like effect. Right beside it, the area also houses a gym with a unique retro vibe, as well as two interconnected body- and face-treatment cabins designed as cocoons, in partnership with the French brand Omnisens.
After the spa (open until 10 PM), the experience continues at the bar, in the intimate ambience of the bar. Settled comfortably in velvet seats, we sampled the cocktail menu. For those who crave sweetness, the Pink Detox is a non-alcoholic blend of fresh fruits—strawberry, raspberry, and coconut water—that transports you to a sun-drenched beach as you sip.
If you’re after more character, turn to the Tonka Pleasure, a bolder, more indulgent blend that marries rum, tonka bean, cocoa and passion fruit. To accompany these drinks, the more indulgent guests can dive into a short, ultra-chic snack menu: burrata with datterino tomatoes and basil, a selection of cheeses, Scottish smoked salmon, or a croque with black truffle and Comté.
A nice little detour to really mark the moment on a date or as a gift, since the tab can run high when you consider the per-person cost and the prime spot near the Champs-Élysées.
