Among the capital’s free highlights, the outdoor pool at Jules Noël promises plenty to discover for this summer 2026. From shaded terraces to parks with misting and water jets, and the many open-air pools in Paris, notably the free ones in Île-de-France, these options help us weather the rising heat and the growing heatwaves.
If you’ve ever dreamed of a outdoor swim in the heart of Paris, now’s the moment to break out the swimsuit! From July 4 to August 16, 2026, the Centre Sportif Jules Noël in the 14th arrondissement breezes into summer mode as a summer leisure village free to all, a refreshing hotspot for both kids and grown-ups. It’s a true oasis of cool and sports activities south of the city, open Monday–Friday from 12:00 to 21:00, Saturday from 10:00 to 21:00, and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00.
From the moment you step in, the holiday vibe is unmistakable. The ephemeral pool, the star of the project, welcomes bathers with open access in the afternoons, offering family and young-child slots, dynamic aquagym classes, and wide spots to relax or soak up the sun between splashes.
The village also features a broad range of free sporting activities for all ages, overseen by animators, as well as artistic, playful, and creative activities, plus inflatable play structures with free access to delight the whole family. A refreshment area will be open throughout the period, offering drinks and light bites.
Don’t miss the three outdoor cinema evenings on Saturdays at 9:30 PM: En Fanfare on July 4, La Vallée des Fous on July 11, and The Funniest Thing on July 17, plus three karaoke nights on Fridays July 19, 24 and 31 at 7:30 PM. The full program is available on the city hall’s website!
Located at the Jules Noël Stadium, between Alésia and Porte d’Orléans, this summer initiative led by the Town Hall of the 14th arrondissement aims to offer Parisians a refreshing and sporty break as they spend the season in the city.
