Since June 11 of last year, soccer fans have been riding the wave of the 2026 World Cup, co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico. To let supporters follow the tournament in a friendly, festive atmosphere, fan zones have sprung up across Île-de-France. If you live in Val-de-Marne, head to this famous medieval site at the gates of Paris, which has decided to broadcast the semi-finals and final on the big screen.

The 2026 World Cup is rolling on across the Atlantic and will run until July 19. On that day, MetLife Stadium, just outside New York, will host the tournament’s grand final. For now, it’s anyone’s guess which teams will contest the title. But one thing is certain: the final promises to be spectacular and high‑octane for the fans inside the stadium and for supporters around the world.

In France, many will gather at friends’ homes or in bars to watch the event. Others will opt for the famous fan zones, which offer match days in a festive, convivial atmosphere. While some broadcasters have been airing the competition since June 11, others have chosen to welcome football fans for the final stages of the season. This is the case of the Vincennes Estival Club. After the Olympic fan zone of 2024 and the first Vincennes Estival Club edition in 2025, the event returns to the exceptional setting of the Château de Vincennes until August 2, 2026.

The last medieval royal residence still standing today, the Château de Vincennes, is reopening its doors to the Vincennes Estival Club, offering a series of activities that blend heritage, sport, music and conviviality.
