Golf is a sport with very ancient roots, which conquered the whole of Europe, before being exported to the Commonwealth states and then to the rest of the world. Golf suffers from a bad reputation: it's often said to be an elitist sport, for the well-to-do or elderly. What if we were to challenge these preconceived ideas?
Children, adults, seniors: all generations can play golf together. This sport demands patience, precision andendurance: qualities that can be developed at any age, whether you're able-bodied or disabled! It's also a great way to get some exercise in the fresh air, spend time in nature and bond with friends and family. In short, all the benefits.
Golf is played in wide-open spaces: at first sight, it would seem unlikely that you'd be able to play this sport in a city as densely populated as Paris. Yet there are many clubs in the capital and surrounding towns. There are almost a hundred clubs in the Paris region, and 95 golf courses. To find yours, consult the map provided by the French Ministry of Sports. And take a look at our list of the nearest courses to the capital.
What do you say: how about 18 holes next weekend?
