Founded in 2002 by Bruce Ykanji, Juste Debout has become the world’s largest event dedicated to Hip Hop dance! After a five-year hiatus, it made a triumphant return in 2025 at Bercy, and this year it moves to the Stade Pierre de Coubertin, a historic venue in the world of dance, on March 7 and 8, 2026. The top dancers will clash in duels across various categories, competing in three different battles before a panel of renowned judges, including Kwame, Masato, and Malika Benjelloun.
The program features the Classic category, including popping, locking, house dance, and hip hop, followed by Afro Descendant, blending Afro, dancehall, krump, and electro styles. To close the show, there's the Junior Dance Tour, dedicated to young prodigies aged 8 to 14 in one-on-one battles. Winners earn the title of world’s best dancer and open doors to new opportunities, with Just Debout acting as a talent showcase to help them get noticed—much like the Twins, who gained recognition through Beyoncé.
Since last year, global preliminary rounds have been taking place across the United States, China, Tunisia, Japan, Romania, Italy, England, and of course France. These events aim to select the dancers who will perform at the grand finale in Paris, promising an extraordinary, vibrant show! If you're in Paris, don't miss the opportunity to catch the preliminary auditions on March 5th and 6th.
