From September 6 to 30, 2017, the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord hosts a modern version of Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata (1853) staged by Benjamin Lazar. All around breathtaking, the show manages to succeed in inviting musicians on the stage and to tighten the emotion around Judith Chemla’s delicate acting.
