Affair of the Century trial: State liable for climate inaction

Two years ago, several NGOs met to launch “The Affair of the Century”. This petition – that claimed for a plea against the State for climate inaction ultimately garnered 2 million signatures. At the end of the trials, the State is found liable for wrongdoing in the fight against global warming. The administrative court condemned the State to pay a symbolic fine of one euro to petitioning associations.

Coronavirus: a petition to launch a “national mourning day”

A group of families who lost someone because of coronavirus have launched a petition proposing to create a “national mourning day”. A day dedicated to all people impacted to remember and grieve those they lost and could not say goodbye to.

Coronavirus: never again, 34 measures to build tomorrow together

“Never again” – “Plus jamais ça” - this is the petition launched a few weeks ago by twenty associative and union trade organizations. Greenpeace, Oxfam, Attac and even the CGT call to build tomorrow together and propose 34 measure to make it.
