13 November’s terror attacks: key steps of this historical trial

This is a historical trial! Six years after the terror attacks on November 13, 2015 in Paris – that killed 130 people and injured 350 more at the Stade de France, the Bataclan and on several terraces in Eastern Paris – the trial of Salah Abdeslam and the 19 other defendants opens this Wednesday September 8, 2021. The trial is expected to last nine months.

Affair of the Century trial: State liable for climate inaction

Two years ago, several NGOs met to launch “The Affair of the Century”. This petition – that claimed for a plea against the State for climate inaction ultimately garnered 2 million signatures. At the end of the trials, the State is found liable for wrongdoing in the fight against global warming. The administrative court condemned the State to pay a symbolic fine of one euro to petitioning associations.
