Public transit: fewer metros at off-peak hours starting Wednesday in Paris

Because of lockdown implemented since October 30, 2020, the public transit offer in Paris and Île-de-France will be cut in half at off-peak hours on some lines. Coronavirus: Social distancing rules soon made softer in public transportation?

Minister for Ecological Transition Elisabeth Borne said social distancing rules in public transportations will be made softer starting from June 2 to enable “more flux at peak hours”. Another goal: increasing the number of seats in TGV and enabling French people to go on summer holidays.
