School vacations and public holidays: the 2024-2025 calendar, zone by zone

While many French children are currently on vacation, a decree published in the Journal Officiel (the official gazette) unveils, zone by zone, the school vacation calendar for the year 2024-2025. All students will return to school on Monday, September 2, 2024. They will then be able to take advantage of a new vacation, the All Saints' vacation, starting on October 19.
