From September 20 to 22, 2024, the Gaîté Lyrique is hosting the second edition of the Anticipation festival, a free event designed to raise public awareness of various ecological issues through exhibitions, screenings, shows, concerts, workshops...

In September, a free festival open to all returns to talk art and ecology. From September 20 to 22, 2024, the Gaîté Lyrique hosts the second edition of the Anticipation festival: organized by two agencies, togaether and Tactic/14Septembre, the festival mobilizes some twenty artists to alert the public to the climate emergency and raise awareness of this cause.

What's on the program? The festival invites you to imagine together a livable future, to envision new possibilities and, above all, to find solutions for taking concrete action in the face of environmental problems and climate challenges, with exhibitions by designers and visual artists, dance and theater performances, concerts, film screenings, educational workshops... Come and see a fresco on the climate, listen to the debates at the various round tables, and above all, discover the essential information you need to take action on your own scale in the face of the environmental emergency.

We don't yet know the detailed program for this new edition, but we've already got a few names we'd like to see... Sarah Valente, Margaux Desombre, Dominique Paulin, Camille Pozzo di Borgo, Jérémy Gobé, Studio Orta, Audrey Galais, Jeanne Vicerial, Manon Pretto, Thomas Vanz, Minuit 12, Patrick Scheyder and Thomas Brail have been invited for this new edition. Concerts, digital art, photography, textiles and design, painting, round-table discussions, lectures: the program promises to be even busier.

Whether you're coming with the family, teenagers, friends or whatever, the good news is that the Anticipation festival is free, open to all and doesn't require a reservation! If you're looking for a fun and educational way to learn more about the climate from September 20 to 22, 2024, come to the Gaîté Lyrique!
