While the Mondial du Tatouage is coming back at Paris La Grande Halle de la Villette in March 2018, tattoo lovers can patiently wait thanks to the Paris Tattoo Ink: the very first floating tattoo fair in Paris.
This event takes place on Saturday September 9 and Sunday September 10, 2017 aboard the Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches and is likely to attract many passersby.
And for good reason since the Paris Tattoo Ink brings together some of the greatest names of tattoo in the world. Japanese master Horinori is coming for the first time in France.
The convention hosted by Pascal Tourain welcomes photographer Masato Sudo and ethnologist Yoshimi Yamamoto as well as president of the Tatouage et Partage association Stéphane Chaudesaigues.
Here are some of the tattoo artists present at the convention: Yago the bear, Tery Do, Kalil Moktar, Carlos Mille, Patrick Fauconnier as well as Arabelle Fauconniers, Kalie Kaiser, Dina Von Candy, Barbara Rosendo, La Comtesse de White Church…
In addition to get inked by the best tattoo artists, visitors can also have a look at Masato Sudo’s photo exhibition, attend conferences about Japanese tattoo’s origins, concerts, admire Japanese etchings and enjoy various stands (barber shop, rockabilly clothes, body piercing material…)
