Who hasn’t heard about Pierre Hermé? The king of the macaron, the inventor of the Ispahan, the Mogador, the “Tarte infiniment vanille” or the “2000 feuilles”. By the way, for sweet-toothed foodies, he recently opened a tea salon at Beaupassage and a Café in rue Bonaparte. It’s naturally that the Grand Salon de la Pâtisserie organizers offered Pierre Hermé to be the ambassador of this “Great celebration of Pastry”. An honor accepted to share his expertise. He will preside the organization committee in collaboration with the head of the Confédération des Artisans Pâtissiers [Confederation of Pastry Artisans], Pierre Mirgalet.
